What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary) is a format for distributing and gathering content from sources across the internet. It allows you to subscribe to information on our website and automatically receive summaries of the articles as they are published. We don't collect any personal information when you subscribe to an RSS feed on this site.
How do I use RSS?
Content on this site that is available through RSS is indicated by this small icon at the top right of the page.
In order to subscribe to RSS feeds, you can use Internet Explorer or download an RSS Reader (these are available for different platforms, and many are free).
Subscribing to an RSS feed
To subscribe to an EPA RSS feed, click on the RSS icon on the relevant page. Depending on your browser and version, you may see a simple "Subscribe" option in a pop-up window, or you will see the code.
The list of feeds you subscribe to will be under Live bookmarks or Favourites > Feeds, depending on your browser.
If you see the code, copy the URL (the address) between the first pair of link tags (circled in the screenshot above). Paste this location into the appropriate channel of your feed reader, following the instructions in that application.
To unsubscribe from a specific RSS feed, simply delete the link from your feed reader.
